Shafiq Ahmed Bhatti is a qualified, seasoned and registered Professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council since 1975 having fifty years of multifarious and multidirectional experience in diverse and assorted engineering disciplines, encompassing building construction, pavement construction, sewerage systems, water supply networks, gas pipelines, architectural design, manufacturing, fabrication, procurement, and predelivery inspections of engineering, chemical, and textile goods. His demonstrated expertise extends to administrative matters & financial management, underscoring a holistic command over both technical and organizational domains.
He served in the federal government in supervisory positions for thirty-five years in building and road construction, procurement of goods, and quality assurance of a wide range of goods. His main responsibilities were to approve PC-1 documents, estimates, bill of quantities (BoQ), tender specifications & requirements, evaluating and scrutiny of bids, ensuring compliance with technical standards and financial prudence.
After retirement from government service in 2013, he is providing professional consultancy services under the banner of Consortium Inc., in the field of manufacturing, fabrication project construction, architectural design, urban planning, quality assurance, project feasibilities, administrative, financial assistance, etc. which reflects his continued commitment to excellence, innovation, and integrity in the engineering and development areas.
